The iPhone 6 Plus was released in September 2014, alongside the iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 Plus was the first plus sized iPhone that Apple released. The iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5 inch screen over the iPhone 6's 4.7 inch screen. Alongside the size increase of the device, it also gained a bigger battery for added screen on time, almost double the size of the iPhone 5s's battery. The iPhone 6 Plus has almost double the amount of pixels as its predecessor, the iPhone 5s, despite the 1.5 inch increase in screen size. The iPhone 6 Plus also has a lower appeture front facing camera which means that the lens allows more light into the photo, increasing the quality of the photos taken.
